2 Months Old

The first picture we posted was Evelyn's two week picture. I took a one month picture, but it was accidentally erased. Evelyn is doing great! I couldn't decide which picture to use, so I posted both of them. Here are our beautiful Bug's two month pictures.

Eva Girl's two week picture

Here is a picture of our baby girl at two weeks old. This is the first in a series of pictures to show how much Evelyn grows in her first year. She is so much fun to have around!

Week 41

My due date has been officially changed to six days ago... (February 10th). This means that all of my pictures up until this point have actually almost been two weeks farther along than the date listed. I did not take a picture last week, so it has actually been three weeks since the last one.
Logan and I are just playing the waiting game now. I am beginning to feel that this baby will never come! I was waiting to go into labor to take the final picture, but who knows when that will actually happen. I have been having Braxton Hicks contractions almost constantly and I wonder if I will even notice when the real thing comes along. I have had five nights that contractions have kept me up for more than three hours after going to bed. I don't know how I will have any energy when the baby actually decides to come! I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday (I really hope I don't make it that long) where we will set a date for me to be induced if nothing has happened by then.

We are ready! As soon as she makes her appearance, we will let you know.

Week 36

Three more days and I will be full term at 37 weeks! That is kind of an exciting thing, but in reality it will probably still be a while. My first ultrasound revealed that our baby girl was actually ahead in development. The ER doctor advised that my due date be changed from February 21st to the 12th. My doctor had the final say and decided to keep the original date. I am trying to not get my hopes up for an early arrival. I don't mind being pregnant for a little bit longer, but I am very excited to meet our little girl.
We have posted a survey on the main blog to give you a chance to voice your opinion about our baby girl's name. We would love to hear your opinion.

Week 34

Time is passing so quickly. I am very excited to finally have our little girl, but I think I will also miss being pregnant. Logan and I started our childbirth classes this week and we agree that this whole 'baby thing' is becoming more and more real for us.

I have been surprised to learn that my belly is not always perfectly round. In fact, it rarely is round. Sometimes I look down and see a definate spike in part of my stomach, or one side will be flat and the other will poke out. Sometimes she hangs out completely above my belly button and sometimes completely below. It is really interesting to see and even more interesting to watch her change positions.

Our baby girl is very active and she is getting stronger and stronger by the day. The aches of pregnancy have started to catch up with me. Sciatica has begun to set in in my lower back and legs. If anyone has any advice for this please let me know :). Other that that... everything is great.

Week 32

Hello all, I hope your Holidays were wonderful. Here is another 'good morning' baby belly picture! Our baby girl is doing great! She is very active and a very good house guest. She has not been giving me any problems except for occasional back aches. Logan and I are anxiously awaiting her arrival and we are excited to decorate and prepare ourselves for a new baby!
